Mission

To conduct need based Professional Development Programs for the faculty of HEIs(Universities, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges).

To liaison with the DTE Kerala for designing Curriculum, Instructional Materials & Media for the Diploma Programs.

To Develop ECK as Satellite campus for the NITTTR Chennai for offering Academic and Research Programs.

To collaborate with Industries, Research Laboratories for offering Industrial training, Joint Projects for the Faculty of HEIs.
Polytechnic College Faculty

Housed in a building of Govt.Polytechnic College,Kalamassery.

Technical Education Department have done all the support for the functioning of the centre.

Actively participated in curriculum revision,short term programmes for the faculty of polytechnic colleges in liaison with Technical Education Department.

Sanctioned Rs.15 lakhs in 1979 and revised to Rs.30 lakhs in 1983.for building construction by Govt.of Kerala

In 1994,Govt.allotted land of extend 1 acre from Govt.Polytechnic College,Kalamassery was allotted to this centre on lease for 99 years with a nominal rent of Rs.1/- per annum.

A building with a good architecture was constructed by NITTTR Chennai and inaugurated in 2000.
